Softball Recap: Edison Snags 11th Victory in Last 12 Games

Edison won the last time they faced Sandusky and things went their way on Monday too. The Chargers put the hurt on the Blue Streaks with a sharp 14-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Edison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sandusky, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Edison has already played their next game (against Crestview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sandusky does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
