Beyer is 7-2 against Pacheco since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Patriots will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Beyer's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Pacheco has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
If Beyer beats Pacheco with nine runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Patriots never let Grace Davis get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Patriots have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Mackenzie Hough was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenna Kimoto, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Hough wasn't the only one making solid contact: Beyer kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pacheco lost 22-9 to Ceres on Monday.
Sasha Siemiller and Serenity Martinez did some serious damage despite the final result: Siemiller went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Martinez scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Isabella Chavez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Beyer has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Pacheco, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
Pacheco's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Beyer has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Pacheco, though, as they've been averaging only 2.8 strikeouts. Will Beyer keep running through batters, or will the Panthers buck the trend?
Beyer took their victory against Pacheco in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 15-3 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
