Softball Recap: Beechwood Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Beechwood faced off against Gallatin County on Wednesday. The Tigers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beechwood has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Gallatin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Beechwood will face off against Villa Madonna at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gallatin County, they will challenge Owen County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
