Soccer Recap: Waialua Comes Up Short

If Waialua was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Nanakuli last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Waialua Bulldogs came up short against the Waipahu Marauders on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marauders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Waialua has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 1-7-1 record this season. As for Waipahu, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Waialua will take on Pearl City at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pearl City will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Waipahu, they will face off against Radford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
