Soccer Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Owen Warhorses. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Owen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in March.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Owen, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mitchell will challenge Draughn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Owen, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brevard at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
