Basketball Game Preview: Fort Lauderdale Flying L's vs. Saint Andrew's Scots

The Fort Lauderdale Flying L will head out to take on the Saint Andrew's Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Flying L's fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They managed a 59-55 victory over Piper on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Flying L's in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Saint Andrew's took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They really took it to American Heritage for the full four quarters, racking up a 93-54 victory. The Scots not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 9th (when they won 75-28).

Fort Lauderdale lost to Saint Andrew's on the road by a decisive 58-44 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can the Flying L's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
