Baseball Recap: Carolina Academy Comes Up Short

Carolina Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 last Tuesday.

Carolina Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Carolina Academy will take on Oakbrook Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakbrook Prep will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Carolina Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they will face off against Belton-Honea Path at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
