Baseball Recap: Silver Stage Comes Up Short

Silver Stage lost against Battle Mountain on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Silver Stage Nighthawks came up short against the Battle Mountain Longhorns, falling 11-1. The Nighthawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silver Stage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Battle Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Silver Stage has already played their next match, a 12-1 loss against Incline on the 11th. Battle Mountain will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oasis Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 21st. Battle Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
