Football Recap: Wapakoneta Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

Wapakoneta won the last time they faced Celina and things went their way on Friday too. The Redskins took down the Bulldogs 24-7. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 164th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wapakoneta's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.9 points over those games. As for Celina, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
