Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was the 2-1 winner over Brooks when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Kennedy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 25-21.

Kennedy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Brooks, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Curie on the 17th. As for Brooks, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Thornridge on the 16th.
