Basketball Recap: Suring Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wausaukee last Monday, Suring came back down to earth. The Suring Eagles fell just short of the Coleman Cougars by a score of 33-31 on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Suring's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Coleman, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Suring will take on Niagara in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Suring is facing Niagara at the right time seeing as Niagara is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Coleman, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Coleman Cougars duke it out with the Crandon Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
