Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I recap November 13, 2013

Mike Jones of South ran for the longest rushing play in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I this season against West last week. Jones ran for 81 yards on the play and finished with 254 on the day as his team topped the Pioneers.

Derby extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating North, 56-7. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.

Malik Veal was a passing and rushing force as Central bested Andover. Veal's favorite target this week was Kamen Kossow, who caught 2 passes for 15 yards.

Veal was a beast in the backfield as the Mustangs topped the Trojans.

Veal was the best running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 273 yards as Central bested West. Teammate JW Maldaner added to the ground attack by rushing for 85 yards.

South's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Stonebraker has thrown for 1,434 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Nachbar has 39 catches for 971 yards.

Nachbar of the Sam Sellers' team's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 29 receiving yards in this week's game against Bishop Carroll to get there. So far this year, he has acheived 39 catches for 971 yards.

Michael Hall's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,607 from 2,005. The advance stemmed from a 48-12 victory over Andover last week.
