Basketball Recap: Thornapple Kellogg Comes Up Short

Thornapple Kellogg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 52-42 to the Wayland Wildcats. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 68-58.

Thornapple Kellogg now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Wayland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Thornapple Kellogg will welcome Wyoming at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wyoming has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. Northview will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wayland surely won't give up without a fight.
