Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington lost against Moon Valley back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Washington Rams took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moon Valley Rockets. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ta'Lon Heron, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double was Heron's first of the season.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Moon Valley, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glendale at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th. Moon Valley will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Thunderbird at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
