Volleyball Recap: North Ridgeville Takes a Loss

If North Ridgeville was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Elyria on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers fell just short of the Medina Battling Bees by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Battling Bees apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, North Ridgeville sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 25-21, 24-26, 15-10.

North Ridgeville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Medina, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

North Ridgeville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Midview on the 26th. As for Medina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
