Softball Game Preview: Williamstown Braves vs. Pitman Panthers

The Williamstown Braves will face off against the Pitman Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Tuesday, Williamstown made easy work of Atlantic City and carried off a 13-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Pitman made sure to put some runs up on the board against Wildwood on Wednesday. The Panthers blew past the Warriors 17-2. Considering the Panthers have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Williamstown's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pitman, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Williamstown took their victory against Pitman in their previous matchup back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
