On Monday, Digital Pioneers Academy faced McKinley Tech in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Digital Pioneers Academy Pythons came up short against the McKinley Tech Trainers, falling 66-44. The Pythons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

It was another big night for DaMontae Neclos, who posted 27 points and five boards for McKinley Tech. Neclos' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rico Zeno, who had 11 points.

Digital Pioneers Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for McKinley Tech, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
