Softball Recap: Junction Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Junction had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over Goldthwaite. For Junction, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 victory Goldthwaite walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Junction pushed their record up to 10-15 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Goldthwaite, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
