Preview: Quitman vs. Kemper County
Quitman will be playing at home against Kemper County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quitman has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 16.
Quitman suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a tough 8-2 defeat at the hands of Enterprise. Quitman has not had much luck with Enterprise recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Kemper County fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They had just enough and edged Philadelphia out 3-2.
Quitman's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Kemper County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5-1.
Everything went Quitman's way against Kemper County in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 as Quitman made off with a 7-0 win. Will Quitman repeat their success, or does Kemper County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
