Basketball Recap: Western Hills Takes a Loss

Western Hills suffered their closest loss since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Benbrook Bobcats by a score of 34-31. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 37-31.

This is the second loss in a row for Western Hills and nudges their season record down to 11-12. As for Benbrook, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Western Hills will head out on the road to take on Carter-Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Hills is facing Carter-Riverside at the right time seeing as Carter-Riverside is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Benbrook, they will welcome Eastern Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastern Hills will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Benbrook surely won't give up without a fight.
