Basketball Game Preview: Cusick Panthers vs. Republic Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Cusick Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Republic Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cusick took on Curlew on Friday. Cusick had to suffer through a 59-26 loss at the hands of Curlew. The Panthers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, on FridayRepublic's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past Selkirk 57-54. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cusick fell to 2-1. As for Republic, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Cusick might still be hurting after the 54-30 loss they got from Republic in their previous meeting back in January. Can Cusick avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
