Soccer Game Preview: Upperman vs. Sequatchie County

The Upperman Bees will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Sequatchie County Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Upperman is headed out to face Sequatchie County after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Upperman won by a goal and slipped past Jackson County 1-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sequatchie County). They put the hurt on Lookout Valley with a sharp 10-3 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won eight in a row.

Upperman came up short against Sequatchie County in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Upperman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
