Volleyball Recap: Ballard Comes Up Short

Ballard and St. Xavier squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Ballard had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The loss leaves the Bruins still looking for their first win of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Xavier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalton Lutes, who had nine digs and five aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Louie Murr, who had three digs and two aces.

Ballard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Xavier, the win was the 25th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-1.

As of now, neither Ballard nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
