Basketball Recap: Cobden Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cobden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cairo Pilots, falling 78-54. Appleknockers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Pilots since Tuesday.

Cobden's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cairo, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cobden will challenge Anna-Jonesboro at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cairo, they will square off against Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
