Basketball Recap: Assumption Gets the Win

Assumption posted their closest victory since November 25, 2023 on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Prentice Buccaneers out 61-59. That's more bragging rights for the Royals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Assumption's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Prentice, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Assumption will challenge Edgar at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgar knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Assumption likes a good challenge. As for Prentice, they will take on Abbotsford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
