It was a big day for Eric Ramirez on Friday as he got points on the board for the first time in his young career. He posted four points and ten assists, but sadly Santa Paula still had to take a 60-58 loss at the hands of Centennial. We certainly expect to see more performances from Ramirez considering he's already seeing the court as a sophomore.

Coming up, Ramirez and Santa Paula won't have much time to rest: their next game is against McLane at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Ramirez's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cardinals' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Ramirez and the Cardinals surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Saturday's match.
