Baseball Recap: Greene County Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prairie City-Monroe, Greene County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Atlantic Trojans. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Greene County's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Atlantic, they moved to 9-15 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Greene County has already played their next match (against Glidden-Ralston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Atlantic, they will welcome Harlan on Friday.
