Izard County won the last time they faced Cotter and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 5-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Izard County's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Cotter, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Izard County will welcome Cedar Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cotter, they are taking a road trip to face off against Alpena at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
