Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Garrigan). Everything went their way against the West Hancock Eagles on Friday as they made off with a 20-9 victory. The Golden Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 11 runs or more this season.

Bishop Garrigan now has a winning record of 4-3. As for West Hancock, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Bishop Garrigan will head out on the road to face off against Belmond-Klemme at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Broncos' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Golden Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Hancock, they will be playing at home against Lake Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
