Basketball Game Preview: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Mitchell County Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Terrell County Greenwave will jump right back in to play the Mitchell County Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Terrell County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Mitchell County likes a good challenge.

Terrell County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Miller County by a score of 73-64. The victory continues a trend for the Greenwave in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won seven in a row.

Michael Carter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Terrell County's points. Another player making a difference was Cordarius Perry, who posted 17 points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mitchell County beat Terrell County 69-65 on Thursday.

Mitchell County's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Terrell County, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
