Basketball Recap: King's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If King was feeling good fresh off their 59-35 takedown of Indio last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The King Wolves took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the El Dorado Golden Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Golden Hawks are ranked 105th).

King's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5. As for El Dorado, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

King will take on Poly at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for El Dorado, they will square off against Anaheim at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
