Basketball Game Preview: Olentangy Braves vs. Olentangy Orange Pioneers

Olentangy and Olentangy Orange are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. Both will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both teams are still undefeated after four-games, but that won't be the case come Saturday.

Olentangy is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since January 20th on Friday. Everything went their way against Marysville as Olentangy made off with a 67-45 win. With the Braves ahead 33-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Ulysses Ponder was nothing short of spectacular: he went 10 of 17 on his way to 20 points along with seven boards and three steals. That's the most boards he has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Walburn, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points.

Olentangy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Olentangy Orange narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Dublin Coffman 68-66.

Olentangy Orange's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Olentangy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-0.
