Staunton is 2-7 against Pana since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Staunton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Staunton came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Litchfield, falling 4-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Staunton couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Jillian Meyer, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Pana made sure to put some goals up on the board against Southwestern on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Piasa Birds a 4-0 shutout. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Pana's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

The win got Pana back to even at 5-5-1. As for Staunton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Everything went Staunton's way against Pana when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Staunton made off with a 5-0 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
