The South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South Stanly is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They were dealt a 67-31 loss at the hands of Piedmont on Monday. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-17.

South Stanly's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Piper Huneycutt, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards, and Kanija Colson, who posted five points and 12 rebounds. Colson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Central Academy of Technology & Arts was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Tuesday as they fell 58-52 to Lee Park Prep. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

South Stanly will have to contain Justice Hegwood as she made an impact in Central Academy of Technology & Arts' last game. She put up 38 points.
