Baseball Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

If Scott was riding high fresh off their 10-2 takedown of Cooper on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the Campbell County Camels by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Camels recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Campbell County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott will face off against Bracken County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Campbell County, they will be playing at home against Holy Cross at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Camels' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Indians have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
