Baseball Recap: Floyd Central Extends Winning Streak to Four

Floyd Central proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 17) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wolfe County Wolves 11-10. While the Jaguars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 16-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory (which was Floyd Central's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Wolfe County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.
