Volleyball Recap: Aqqaluk Comes Up Short

Aqqaluk lost against McQueen on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Qavviks. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Aqqaluk had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18.

Aqqaluk's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for McQueen, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Aqqaluk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McQueen, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Deering on the 15th.
