Jacksonville was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Wellborn on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles blew past the Panthers 11-1. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Dailyn Wood and KeAsiah Williams did most of the damage at the plate: Wood went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple, while Williams went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Williams has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Harper Atchley, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Jacksonville's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Wellborn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Jacksonville will face off against Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wellborn, they will head out to challenge Weaver at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
