Preview: Kennedy vs. Shaw
The previous games for Shaw and Kennedy did not go as hoped for either team. Kennedy has to be hurting after the devastating 27 - 6 defeat at the hands of Leland last game. As for Shaw, it wasn't able to scrape together any points last week, falling to Brooks 22 - 0.
Kennedy's game was close at the break (13 - 6), but Leland took charge in the second half. Senior Jamarrio Loggins didn't go down without a fight, though. He put up some defensive resistance with 25 tackles. The defeat made it a disappointing 1-3 start for Kennedy.
Meanwhile, Shaw's game was tied 0 - 0 at the half, but it couldn't pull ahead. The defeat brought it down to 1-2.
Neither Shaw nor Kennedy managed to put together many points in its previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. We'll see which team can eke out a win.
