Football Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

After flying high against Colfax last Friday, Whitehall came back down to earth. The Norse took a 30-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Raiders on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Norse in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost nine in a row.

Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Arcadia, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitehall will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eleva-Strum at 7:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Arcadia, they will venture away from home to take on Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
