Basketball Recap: Hilldale Hornets vs. Catoosa Indians
The Hilldale Hornets had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Catoosa on the road to the tune of 56-20 on Friday. The win was just what Hilldale needed coming off of a 61-25 defeat in their prior game.
Despite the defeat, Catoosa saw an underclassman step up: Kloie Bristol scored 13 points.
Hilldale's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Catoosa, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hilldale will take on the Wardogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Miami is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Catoosa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagoner presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Indians in Oklahoma (the Bulldogs are ranked 72nd, while the Indians are ranked 385th).
