Wayne Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bowling Green Buccaneers as they made off with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Jaguars have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Ian Smith's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Wayne Academy got a massive performance out of Eli Moody, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple was Moody's first of the season. Tyler Wooten was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI.

Wayne Academy's record is now 15-7. As for Bowling Green, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-10-1.

Wayne Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Buccaneers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
