Softball Recap: Ranburne Takes a Loss

Ranburne came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-4 to the Oak Grove Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since April 29, 2024.

Ranburne's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Oak Grove, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season.

Ranburne will be playing at home against Weaver at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Grove, they will head out to challenge Fairfield at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Oak Grove is facing Fairfield at the right time seeing as Fairfield is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
