Carson's last matchup with Northwest Cabarrus could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Carson Cougars lost 52-31 to the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans. The Cougars have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Rylee Hedrick and Allie Martin certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Hedrick almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards, while Martin dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. Hedrick is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
