Football Game Preview: Cape Cod RVT Crusaders vs. Wareham Vikings

For the first time this season, Cape Cod RVT will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to face off against the Wareham Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Cape Cod RVT was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 33-28 to Martha's Vineyard Regional.

Meanwhile, Wareham fell victim to Carver and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Crusaders and fell 34-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wareham now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cape Cod RVT, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Cape Cod RVT against Wareham in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 33-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
