San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves, falling 29-16. On the bright side, the 16- run effort marked the Vipers' highest-scoring contest to date.

San Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for St. Augustine Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Coming up, San Miguel will face off against Bisbee at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The Vipers will need to watch out since the Pumas have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Desert Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
