Softball Recap: Northwest Knights vs. Indian Hill Braves

Northwest had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 0-11 to make it seven. They came up short against the Indian Hill Braves, falling 22-12. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

As for Indian Hill, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

For Indian Hill's part, Zoey Glenn was a standout: she got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Glenn has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Landry Glenn, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will take on Talawanda in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Indian Hill, they will be taking part in a tournament against Roger Bacon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight.
