Volleyball Recap: Glendale Vikings vs. Bishop McCort Crushers
Glendale lost against Bishop McCort back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell just short of the Crushers by a score of 2-1.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Glendale sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 19-25, 25-16.

Glendale lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Madilyn Skebeck, who had eight kills, eight digs, and five blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel McClellan, who had 11 digs and six kills.
Bishop McCort was led to victory by Emma Preuss and Olivia Urban. Preuss had five aces and three digs, while Urban had 13 assists and three aces. Those five aces gave Preuss a new career-high.
Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Bishop McCort, the win got them back to even at 7-7-3.
