Volleyball Recap: Dimond Lynx vs. Service Cougars
After losing to Service the last time they met, Dimond decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lynx put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Lynx not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19th (when they won 3-0).
Dimond never let Service on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-22.
Nia Cook paced Dimond's offense, picking up 14 kills. Cook got some help from Puao Asailevai and her 19 assists. Asailevai was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
