Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Eastbrook Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Eastbrook scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Fort Wayne Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Eastbrook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Fort Wayne Wayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Huntington North on the 30th. As for Eastbrook, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Maconaquah on the 30th.
